This property is located approximately 38 miles from Florence. However, less than ten miles away is the village of Deadwood with its small grocery store and post office.

The terrain of this parcel varies between flat and sloped, grassy and heavily timbered. The area closest to the creek is soggy during the rainy season.

A storage shed is the only existing structure on the parcel. Electrical, water and septic services will all need to be developed. The road leading to this land is paved, except for the last 1.5 miles.

This property is bordered on one side by the Siuslaw National Forest. Some of the surrounding area has been logged, and active logging continues.

Deadwood Creek borders one side of the parcel. A separate creek, Buck Creek, must be crossed in order to access the majority of the acreage. This picture was taken on January 24, 2006 and shows the present crossing.
